How do you start an online retail business with Amazon as a side hustle … while nursing a newborn and managing the business to go global as a single mum? Well, this episode’s guest Denise Billsborough shares all with her experience in creating and growing Little Archer and Co.
Going on maternity leave, with her new little family down to one wage and considering her role as a mother and provider, Denise thought long and hard about what she wanted to achieve for her family’s future and came up with a great plan. She realised that it would be really difficult to go back to full-time work while also caring for her baby, and she also discovered a gap in the market for new mothers trying to decipher all the new product offerings and learnings surrounding motherhood… so Little Archer and Co was born. Denise had no previous experience in the online retail space, and so in this podcast she shares with us how she got started, how she made it work with her lifestyle and how it has become an international online store, recognised and showcased by Amazon Australia and hitting new goals.
