She leads a team of close to 40 people, attends almost every event across the Coast, is known and loved by many in the community and business landscape, and is also a mother of 2 daughters.

 

While she works in an industry renowned for stress and deadlines, and went through a big shakeup with the transition to online news, Shannon has been able to lead with heart and empower a wonderful team and strong community. Shannon rocks her current role but the story of how she got there, what she overcame and what she’s achieved is truly impressive.
